Common Questions

Is Copresent a subscription?

No. Pro is a single $15 USD payment and it does not renew. There is no monthly or annual plan, and no per-seat pricing.

What does the free plan actually include?

Everything needed to present on your own, plus one copresenter at a time. You get the phone remote, live speaker notes, and your copresenter never has to install anything or make an account. Only the host installs the Chrome extension.

What counts as a copresenter?

Only copresenters who are online at that moment. If someone closes their tab they stop counting, so a room doesn't stay full because a phone dropped off. Your own devices are host devices, not copresenters, so they never use up the copresenter seat.

How many of my own devices can I use?

Two at once without signing in — typically the controller in your browser plus one phone. Signing in with Google removes that limit entirely: devices matched to your account don't count. Signing in is free.

How does the free trial work?

Pro is free for 7 days. The clock starts the first time a signed-in host opens the host controller, so you need a Google sign-in to begin — copresenters still don't. If you had an account before the trial existed you can start yours whenever you like rather than having it spent for you.

What happens when the trial ends?

You go back to the free plan — one copresenter at a time. Nothing is deleted and no card is charged, because we never took one. If you buy Pro during the trial you keep Pro permanently.

Do my copresenters have to pay?

No. Pro is bought by the host, once. Everyone they invite joins through the link on any device, with no account, no install and no payment.

Does Copresent work with PowerPoint or Keynote?

Not yet — Copresent currently works with Google Slides only, on both the free and Pro plans.
